Unboxing Solstice: Step by Step

Welcome to the beautiful, fragrant world our Solstice aromatherapy machine creates with our luxurious, odor eliminating fragrances. In this section we will walk you through unboxing our Solstice machine so you can start eliminating lingering and new odors in your home or workspace immediately.

Solstice is a rechargeable desktop aroma machine that can be set with 24h cycles without having to be plugged in. Simply take this machine where odors live and let it do the hard work for you.

1) The Solstice aromatherapy machine arrives fully assembled. When opening the box, please remove the Solstice machine carefully, and the additional items included: USB-C charge cord.

2) Choose your favorite Fragrance & Fur diffusion oil fragrance. Open the Retreat machine by pulling up on the atomizer head to remove the atomizer head and oil storage bottle. Twist the atomizer head counterclockwise to remove it from the oil storage bottle. The included fragrance oil storage bottle will hold up to 100ml of fragrance. Pour your chosen Fragrance & Fur fragrance oil into the bottle, not to exceed 100ml. When finished, screw the bottle back onto the atomizer head and place the entire part back into the Solstice machine and secure until fully locked in place.

*Do not exceed 100ml of Fragrance & Fur Odor Eliminating Fragrance

*Do not mix the oil with water.

3) Choose the location of where you would like to place your Solstice aromatherapy machine where it will not fall or be disturbed easily by children and pets. Choose an area that doesn't restrict the oil release. Plug the Solstice machine into the wall outlet firmly to fully charge. The machine will work while charging. Once fully charged, the machine will work without being plugged in until the machine needs to be charged again.

4) Solstice has manual operation and app operation.

The art of scenting your space starts with strategic placement to ensure that the scent flows beautifully throughout your environment, rather than escaping.

Position your diffuser away from:

HVAC return grills
Exhaust fans
Windows
Doorways

For optimal scent diffusion, it's essential to allow sufficient space around the diffuser. Ensure there is at least 3 feet of clearance above the machine to ensure the aroma disperses fragrance consistently.

We recommend starting with the lowest setting and slowly increasing until it is perfection in your eyes and on the nose.

The higher the intensity level, the more scent molecules are diffused into the air.
Different scents may require different intensity levels.
The size of your room and the ceiling height also play a role in the amount of fragrance needed to fill the space to your preferred level.
If your room is warmer, you may also find that less fragrance is required.
You can always increase or decrease fragrance intensity as needed to meet your preferences.

Changing fragrance is a breeze. Add vibrancy to your pet-shared spaces and see where the wind takes you by changing fragrances as your day evolves. Our luxurious fragrances have been created to bring a sense of serenity throughout your space to reduce stress and restore balance and bring forth inner peace for you and your furry friends. Find your favorites and use them to influence your day. Whether its a bit of sunshine with our White Coral and Sun-Ripened Yuzu or refreshing greenery with our Matcha Leaf and Neroli Blossom, your day and your mood can be elevated simply with scent. It is recommended to allow the machine to cycle with rubbing alcohol between fragrance changes to maintain the individual fragrance integrity or feel free to mix and create your own personalized fragrance just for fun.

Solstice: Manual Control Functions

This guide will walk you through setting up the Solstice machine using manual control. The Solstice is a unique machine that allows for 24 hour nonstop scenting and odor elimination in your pet-shared spaces. It's also rechargeable and when charged, it will work without being plugged into a power outlet which allows you to change the location of the machine by simply taking it to where the odors are. We hope you will love this machine as much as we do. It is heavy-duty aluminum alloy in construction and a luxurious addition to your home.

When the device is in working mode, the display shows the working or paused countdown. When not working, the display will show the word "Off." If charging while off, the display will show 100 when fully charged. When in a low battery state, the display will show 000 with red indicator lights.

To reset the Solstice machine to original factory settings, longpress both the working frequency adjustment button and the working period adjust ment button until you hear 5 consecutive beeps. Once the beeps are heard, the machine has been reset to the original factory settings.

To schedule Solstice's level of fragrance intensity, you will need to determine the amount of working time that meets your fragrance needs. Once scheduled, the machine will continue to operate on the manual schedule you set until changed. Please do not dilute fragrance oils as this may damage the machine. Instead, reduce the fragrance intensity if you find the intensity of the fragrance release to be too much.

To begin with your manual fragrance intensity schedule, press the working frequency adjustment button on the right hand side of the machine with the three aroma bars. Once pressed, you will cycle through the scenting intensity options. To schedule, simply stop on the working period you prefer and do not advance to the next gear.

There are multiple choices for manual working period scheduling:

Gear 1: 10 seconds scenting then pause for 300 seconds
Gear 2: 20 seconds of scenting then pause for 300 seconds
Gear 3: 30 seconds of scenting then pause for 300 seconds
Gear 4: 20 seconds of scenting then pause for 120 seconds
Gear 5: 30 seconds of scenting then pause for 120 seconds
Gear 6: 10 seconds of scenting then pause for 30 seconds
Gear 7: 20 seconds of scenting then pause for 30 seconds

To schedule Solstice's working period, you will need to determine how long you would like for the machine to work throughout the day up to a 24-hour period. Once scheduled, the machine will continue to operate on the manual schedule you set until changed.

To being with your manual timing schedule, press the working period adjustment button on the left hand side of the machine with the clock. Once pressed, you will cycle through the timing options until you decide on the working hours of your machine by stopping on the time period and not pressing the button again for several seconds.

There are multiple choices fro manual working period scheduling:

1) 0.5 Hours - the machine works for 30 minutes
2) 1 hour - the machine works for 1 hour
3) 3 hours - the machine works for 3 hours
4) 6 hours - the machine works for 6 hours
5) 8 hours - the machine works for 8 hours
6) 12 hours - the machine works for 12 hours
7) 24 hours - the machine works for 24 hours continuously

Please check if the machine is completely and securely plugged into a power source and that the machine is turned on using the inside switch.

Please check to see if the nozzle is blocked. If the nozzle is blocked, please unblock it.

Please check the level of oil in the oil storage bottle. If it is low or empty, please add more oil.

Please check to make sure that the white pipe inside the oil bottle is not loose. If loose, push the pipe securely into the atomizer head.

Please clean the machine by running a cycle of rubbing alcohol through the machine at the highest intensity for 15 minutes.

Please check to ensure the pump is working. If the pump is not working, please contact customer service for a repair authorization if it is a manufacturer issue and not a normal wear and tear issue.

Please check to ensure the oil bottle is tightened and secure inside the machine

Please check to see if the machine has been tilted over. The machine should stay vertical at all times. The machine will leak oil if tilted or horizontal.

If there is oil leakage from the mist outlet, check whether there are obstacles in the mist outlet hole.

If you are unable to resolve the issue, please contact customer service for a repair authorization.

It is required that you clean the machine every 3 months or during fragrance changes.

All Fragrance & Fur designed diffusers come with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty includes ongoing support with your diffuser as needed. If you have any questions or would like assistance with your diffuser please email us and we’ll gladly assist you.

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, defects in the atomizer core, air pump, and general manufacturing. We do not cover damage from third-party oils, improper use, neglect, or normal wear and tear. Fragrance & Fur will process qualified return and warranty requests upon contact and provide a Return Authorization number for your return, along with important instructions on how to return your product to us. Fragrance & Fur does not pay for or arrange return shipping and does not cover damage during shipment or lost shipments. It is recommended to ship your machine using a tracking number. Failure to follow these instructions, including the placement of your RMA number on the outer packaging of your repair shipment, may void our repair policy.

Fragrance & Fur is proud to offer repairs necessary to ensure your diffuser is in proper working condition during the warranty period. Note that repairs and replacements are at the discretion of the Fragrance & Fur team. We are here to support you and your fragrance journey and are happy provide technical support even after the warranty period to ensure you are able to scent your space with minimal downtime.

Clean the machine every 1-2 months.
Empty the diffuser oil bottle and fill with rubbing alcohol
Allow the machine to run at the highest intensity for 10-15 minutes to remove any residue.
When finished, wipe down with a microfiber cloth
Empty any remaining rubbing alcohol from the oil bottle and allow it to air dry.
Refill the oil bottle with your favorite Fragrance & Fur scent and enjoy freshness again and again.

Installation Safety Measures: The following basic safety precautions should always be complied with to avoid injury, electrical shock, fire, property damage and any other situation that is danger related. Please use common sense at all times.
Do not use an electrical outlet to power the aroma machine if the electrical outlet is damaged. Choose an outlet that is up to code and deemed electrically safe by a trained electrician and ensure the wall outlet is sturdy and secure in a well ventilated area.
Install the aroma machine out of the reach of children and pets. Ensure the aroma machine atomizer with the oil bottle is locked at all times using the key provided to prevent tampering by children or pets. Do not allow children or pets to unplug the aroma machine. Do not allow children or pets to lick, chew, kick, squeeze, drop, scratch, bite, claw, or damage the machine in any way to prevent fire, injury, electrical shock, and other hazards.
The aroma machine does not need to be tilted over. The fragrance oil will leak from the fragrance bottle if the machine is tilted or horizontal. Leaked fragrance oil can damage the machine causing it to no longer work if the machine is tilted or horizontal and oil leaks out. Fragrance oil can also damage the surrounding area, such as flooring, furniture, and drapery, and cause fire under certain circumstances. The machine should always be vertical. Install the machine vertically and keep the machine vertical at all times.
Keep the aroma machine away from fire and heat sources. Do not use the machine in an area with flammable or explosive materials in the vicinity.
The atomizer is corrosion resistant. The body of the machine is not corrosion resistant. While unplugged, gently wipe the body of the machine as needed with a damp cloth. Do not attempt to clean the machine while it is plugged into an electrical outlet. Do not submerge the machine in water or other liquid.
Do not use the machine in high temperatures or wet environments.
The machine is not for outdoor usage.
Only use Fragrance & Fur aromatherapy oils. Don't mix the aroma oil with water. Do not use the machine to distribute any other liquid than the Fragrance & Fur aromatherapy oils.
Don't block the aromatherapy machine opening with your hand or any other obstruction while the machine is in working mode. If you come into contact with the fragrance oil, use warm soapy water to remove the oil from the skin. If oil comes into contact with eyes, mucous membranes, or if it is ingested, call poison control or a medical specialist for treatment. Keep the oil away from children and pets and irresponsible people at all times.
In extreme weather conditions, unplug the aromatherapy machine.
Use common sense at all times to prevent fire, personal injury, property damage, electrical shock, and any other adverse event. Be safe at all times.
