I have always been drawn to animals—great and small, tame and wild. Even on the trail, I find myself enchanted by the bold little creatures that intrincially trust me enough to step closer, hoping a granola bar might be part of the encounter.
A house becomes a true home when pets fill its corners with life. They are the bright, steady spark in our busiest days—the ones who can quiet a racing mind with a single look, a gentle nuzzle, or the soft rhythm of their presence. After a long day, there is nothing quite like opening the door to a welcome of wagging tails, upright ears, and exuberant, plume-tails. It is a joy that never fades.
My family and I have devoted our lives to those joyful tails. For more than two decades, we have owned and operated a private veterinary practice, caring for the animals who bring so much meaning to the lives of the people who love them. Fragrance & Fur was born within those walls.
What began as a simple wish—to make veterinary visits feel gentler and less frightening, and free of the odors of prior patients that may cause uneccessary stress—became something unexpectedly meaningful. The calming fragrances and our exclusive, gentle, plant-based odor eliminator we developed and used helped create a quieter, more peaceful environment for both animals and their owners. Before long, clients began asking if they could bring our fragrance products home, often remarking that a veterinary hospital should not smell this wonderful.
That one question sparked Fragrance & Fur. Our purpose has always been clear: to create an exceptional home-fragrance collection with pet odor elimination that actually works and brings comfort, beauty, and calm into every space—while remaining safe for every beloved member of the family, no matter how many legs they have.

At Fragrance & Fur, every aromatherapy product is thoughtfully crafted in the United States and held to standards that adhere to the safety standards established by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). Our formulas are guided by firm ingredient restrictions shaped by serious health, environmental, and ethical considerations. We carefully select responsibly sourced natural raw materials whenever possible, turning to safe synthetic alternatives only when a natural fragrance could overwhelm a pet’s sensitive nose, place added strain on the planet, or compromise the well-being of the beloved animals in our homes.
With a deep commitment to ethical sourcing and environmental stewardship, our partners trace every ingredient back to its roots, carefully verifying its origin and journey. This rigorous approach ensures that each raw material meets our highest standards of quality while supporting farm workers’ well-being and encouraging the responsible, sustainable use of nature’s resources. At Fragrance & Fur, we believe that great products should not come at the expense of the environment. That is why we are committed to using eco-friendly and recyclable packaging wherever possible. Our goal is to reduce waste, lower our environmental impact, and help customers make more sustainable choices through our leadership.
We carefully select packaging materials that can be reused, recycled, or responsibly disposed of. We use materials such as recycled cardboard, paper-based fillers, recyclable paper mailers, and compostable alternatives when suitable.
We also work to reduce unnecessary packaging. By choosing right-sized boxes and avoiding excessive wrapping, we use fewer materials while still ensuring that every order arrives safely. This approach helps reduce shipping weight, which can also lower carbon emissions during transportation.
Whenever possible, we use recyclable tape, paper labels, and environmentally responsible inks. We also encourage our customers to reuse their boxes and packaging materials before recycling them. Small changes, such as reusing a box for storage or recycling paper inserts, can make a meaningful difference over time.
